I didn’t know upon arrival, but Kore was an all couples resort. All good though as I went with my love… We found Kore was great place to stay & recharge. I loved the sweet touches of the 5 minute massage and fresh juice upon arriving. The grounds are quite beautiful and serene as they have epic ocean views. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and most come with an outdoor space. The hotel is not beach accessible but can be accessed easily through the hotel. The lounge area near the ocean was the most perfect spot for my morning mediation during sunrise. I also loved that unbeknownst to us, everything was inclusive. When I went to wrap up our bill , there was no extra charges which was a sweet surprise leaving.
Tulum isn’t a destination I would consider to have good shopping but I did come cross this little gem of a place. Matt & I were driving pass and the name alone was a reason for me to go in. ( Lolita is my dog’s name in Spanish) & how could I pass up a store with a sign in front that says Follow That Dream.
All products are all natural and organic. The soaps, serums, & love potions are made with love & passion. I bought a gorgeous eco friendly raw cotton poncho dyed with natural sand. Each piece has a story & made with conscious intention.
Hands down one of the most perfect spots for date night or you want a very good bowl of authentic pasta. Even the path walk to the restaurant sets it up for a great night all around. We went at night & could only hear the waves but the restaurant is right on the beach so I’m sure it would be beautiful to dine there for lunch.
This little nook is at the A’hau is a must go! My only regret is not going here when I first arrived because I would have gone every day. The cacao shots are a reason in itself I’ll be coming back to Tulum & the passion fruit juice was insane. I could basically eat here & posada margarita for the rest of my life.
At the Sanara has super fresh juices & superfoods. The view is a treat in itself.
