There comes a point where you realize that wellness is not just about what you look like, it is about how clearly you can think, how deeply you can pray, how disciplined you can become, and how aligned you are spiritually, mentally, and physically.
Starting June 1st, I am inviting you to join me for my very first 21-Day Daniel Fast.
Even though I already eat very clean and focus heavily on organic, nourishing foods, I felt called to go deeper. This is not about dieting or chasing perfection. This is about intentionally simplifying, detoxing distractions, strengthening discipline, nourishing the body with mineral-rich foods, and most importantly, drawing closer to God.
Over the past few months, I have felt a strong pull toward deeper prayer, deeper clarity, and deeper obedience. Sometimes we have to quiet the noise, remove the comforts we rely on, and create space to truly hear what God is trying to say to us.
That is what this fast is for me.
And maybe it is exactly what you need too.
What Is the Daniel Fast?
The Daniel Fast is a 21-day biblical fast inspired by the prophet Daniel in Scripture. It is centered around prayer, discipline, simplicity, and nourishing the body with whole foods God created.
Rather than focusing on restriction alone, the Daniel Fast focuses on purification and intentionality.
During the fast, we let go of foods and habits that often cloud our bodies and minds, and replace them with nutrient-dense, life-giving foods that fuel healing and clarity.
What We Will Be Letting Go Of
During these 21 days, we will eliminate:
Dairy
Meat and animal products
Processed foods
Refined sugars
Artificial ingredients
Fried foods
White flour and heavily processed grains
Caffeine (for many participants)
Alcohol
Sweeteners and junk foods
For me personally, giving up dairy will probably be one of the harder parts because I genuinely enjoy raw dairy and many nourishing foods I already consume. But that is part of the point.
Fasting requires sacrifice.
And sacrifice builds discipline.
What We Will Be Filling Our Bodies With Instead
This fast emphasizes foods that are rich in minerals, nutrients, and natural energy, including:
Fresh vegetables
Fruits
Beans and legumes
Nuts and seeds
Whole grains
Herbal teas
Water
Natural plant-based foods created by God
This is not about starving ourselves.
It is about nourishing ourselves differently.
It is about giving the body a reset while also strengthening the mind and spirit.
Why I Am Doing This
There are three major reasons I felt called to do this fast.
1. To Nourish and Reset My Body
Even healthy eaters can benefit from simplifying and resetting. Our bodies are constantly processing stress, toxins, overstimulation, and modern food overload. I want to focus intentionally on mineral-rich foods and support my body in a deeper way.
2. To Build Greater Discipline
Discipline is one of the greatest ingredients for growth in every area of life.
Whether it is motherhood, marriage, business, wellness, faith, or personal healing, discipline matters. Saying no to temporary cravings teaches us how to say yes to long-term purpose.
Fasting strengthens that muscle.
A growth in Faith
This is the most important reason.
Prayer is always first and foremost in my life, and I believe fasting creates space for spiritual clarity in a way few things can. When we quiet the flesh and remove distractions, we become more sensitive to the voice of God.
I am entering this fast prayerfully, expectantly, and with an open heart to hear what God wants me to hear.
You Do Not Have to Be Perfect
If you have never fasted before, that is okay.
This is my first Daniel Fast too.
We are doing this together.
This is not about perfection. This is about intentionality, growth, and surrender.
Some days may feel easy others not so much. Some days may feel challenging. But I truly believe these 21 days can transform us physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
